Godley & Creme were an English rock duo composed of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The pair met in the late 1950’s and performed in many bands together and found huge international success and acclaim with 10cc. Following the recording of the bands 4th album in 1976, the duo left 10cc to form Godley & Creme and released their first album shortly after.

For the first time, Caroline International brings together all of the albums the duo recorded for Polydor Records – L, Ismism, Birds of Prey and Goodbye Blue Sky. The set also includes a fifth disc of B-Sides and extended mixes. The entire package has been mastered by Andy Pearce and approved by Kevin and Lol. As well as the music, it contains a booklet and box that has been designed by Kevin Godley himself and features new interviews with both members of the band by renowned journalist Daryl Easlea.

The set contains many of the bands best known songs including “Under Your Thumb”, “Cry”, “An Englishman In New York” and “Wedding Bells”, which all feature within the newly remastered albums. Disc five contains material such as “A Little Piece of Heaven (Extended Mix)” as well as some of the aforementioned singles B-sides and more.

In 1979 Kevin and Lol directed their first music video for their own single “An Englishman in New York”. After this, they became some of the most sought-after music video directors in the world working with artists such artists as The Police, Yes, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and more recently Elbow. They also directing the ground-breaking video for their own “Cry” in 1985.

The duo split at the end of the 1980’s and have both been involved in music videos, TV commercials, and sporadic music projects since.
