Mick Jones Publishes “A Foreigners Tale” An Illustrated Biography

To coincide with the bands fortieth anniversary in 2017 Mick Jones founder member publishes his illustrated biography. Entitled “A Foreigners Tale” it tells Mick’s story in photographs and words  and covers his time working with the Beatles in the mid sixties and also Otis Redding and with French Rock n Roller Johnny Hallyday, His story then moves on to working with legendary British rock band Spooky Tooth and former Mountain guitarist Leslie West in Leslie’s two post Mountain bands before forming Foreigner.

Whilst with Foreigner over the last forty years Mick has become one of the most successful song writers with massive hit singles like Feels Like The First Time, Cold As Ice, Urgent, waiting For a Girl like You and I want To Know What Love Is. The band have also released many massively successful albums from the début  self titled Foreigner album in 1977 through to the most recent studio album Can’t Slow Down.

To coincide with the book and the current compilation album released to celebrate the bands fortieth anniversary the band are also engaged in a massive world tour.

The book comes in two formats

The Classic Edition is a hardback book which contains the story and is lavishly illustrated with many photographs many of which have never been seen before

The Signature Edition is the story and illustrations, bound in leather and comes in a clamshell box with two prints of Foreigner from 1977 and is also signed by Mick Jones.
