Concert goers in Nashville got lucky last night, as they were treated to a special reunion performance from Alice Cooper and his surviving original band members. Though you might not of been there, don’t feel too down as we have the video for you to take a look at right here:
Back together again, Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith scheduled a five-song “mini-set” that was included in Cooper’s show at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Andrew Jackson Hall.
Cooper commented “With so many musician, songwriter and producer friends here, as well as great rock fans who come to our concerts, it’s special to be performing with Neal, Michael and Dennis in Nashville for them,”
“It’s fun to go back and work with guys you haven’t worked with in a while,” Cooper explained. “It’s not trying to recapture your youth – it’s trying to recapture a sound, and it’s a very elusive sound.”
The “mini-set” teases the special “mini-album” set to be included in Cooper’s upcoming Paranormal LP, featuring three new songs written and recorded with Bruce, Dunaway and Smith. But that is not all the eagerly awaited album promises, it also features a selection of special guests, including U2’s Larry Mullen Jr., ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover.
