Greg Lake Releases Anthology: A Musical Journey

Career spanning set 23rd October

On 23rd October, BMG release Greg Lake The Anthology, a Deluxe 2 CD, digital & Double Vinyl release which charters Greg Lake’s career through his early recordings with bands such as The Shame and the Shy Limbs through to King Crimson, ELP and Greg’s celebrated solo recordings. CD2 features Greg’s re-recording of the old ELP favourite ‘Closer To Believing’ which he made towards the end of his life.

Greg was a member of King Crimson and Emerson Lake &Palmer, in addition to a successful career as a solo artist. He also collaborated with Geoff Downes and Keith Emerson outside of ELP. He also worked with The Who on the song Real Good Looking Boy from the album Then And Now. In 1983 Greg fronted the band Asia for a worldwide satellite performance live from Japan which was subsequently released on ho,e  video

Greg was also responsible for the perennial Christmas song  I Believe In Father  Christmas.

Greg sadly passed away in December 2016.

this release is the first compilation of Greg’s work since his death and is released on CD  and vinyl
