Merseyside Rock Legends Sign deal For Archive Material

Legendary Merseyside Rock Band The Dick Smith Band have announced they have signed a deal with Sleazy records to release archive material in the coming months. The band who regularly featured in the music press both locally and nationally in the late seventies and early eighties are also listed in various reference books concerning the NWOBHM although musically the band was far more than just one style.

The Dck Smith Band lasted from 1978 until 1982 when the band split and decided to explore other musical avenues under the name “The Other Side. The Other Side is also part of the deal with Sleazy Records and the band announced the deal on their facebook page this week.

 We have signed with Sleaszy Rider Records to do the 12” Single – Givin The Game Away / Way of The World / Motorway Madness Live @ Sir James new years eve 1981. This will be out in September a bit later then we hoped but can’t be helped. This will also be available as a Download probably by late August.

There will be an Album as a CD and Download – in  September / October.
