Swedish guitarist & vocalist Kee Marcellohas announced a 6-date UK tour in October 2018.  Marcello is best known for his years with multi-platinum selling band EUROPE, whose mega-hit The Final Countdown went to number 1 in 25 countries.

These datesformpart of Marcello’sScaling Up tour, which supports his latest album of the same name, andmarkshis return to the Melodic Hard Rock genre. Fans of Europe will be familiar with Le Baron Boys, a pseudonym Europe used duringa now legendary time when the band were working on follow up material to their hit album Out Of This World and Kee will perform material from this era on the tour, some of which also features on his latest album

Kee’s latest release, Scaling Up, represents his vision of the path he and Europe would have gone down if they had continued with the Le Baron Boys material.

This yearalsomarks the 30th Anniversary of Europe’s Out Of This World album and to celebratethis Kee and the band will be performing a selection of songsfrom the album,some of which haven’tbeen performed live since Europe’s OOTW tour back in 1988.

This is a must-see tour for fans of Europe and melodic hard rock!

The Kee Marcello Band includes long-time collaborator Ken Sandin (Alien,Joe lyn-turner,Rock Legends,Eric Martin) and Tim Brown (Don Airey, Martin Turners Wishbone Ash, Aynsley Lister).

Kee Marcello is one of the most renowned guitarists to come out of Scandinavia with an amazing track record. From the hugely successful Swedish glam / pop group Noise in the early 80’s through tothe first U.S. major label deal ever signed by a Scandinavian group: Easy Action (Warner Bros)and then on to multimillion selling success with one Sweden’s biggest music exports: Europe. In the late 80’s and early 90’s Europe sold over 30 million albums and had number1 singles in 26 countries as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Metallica, Def Leppardand Bon Jovi.

The last few years have been both varied and intense for Kee Marcello with projects such as therelease of a top selling autobiography The Rock Star God Forgot, releasing a DVD – Live From The Third Rock;ahugely successful leadrole in a top selling Swedish version of Broadway musical Rock of Ages, and inductioninto the Swedish Music Hall ofFame.

 The Latest album from The Kee Marcello Band Scaling Up is available now on the Frontiers srl label and is Kee’s fifth solo album.  There are also imminent plans for therelease of a new live album.
